Ground Rules & Booking Terms
By confirming this booking or participating in any SCA league or event, you acknowledge and accept all rules, policies, and guidelines set forth by the Singapore Cricket Association (SCA), as outlined below:
General Booking Rules
All bookings are subject to SCA approval and may be cancelled without prior notice.
Full payment is required upon booking to secure your slot.
No refunds once a match begins — including cases where rain interrupts play after the first ball is delivered.
No unauthorised commercial activity, subletting, or resale of bookings.
Cancellations to be made within 7 days of the booking date.
Team-Initiated Cancellation
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled booking to be eligible for a refund or credit note.
Cancellations made within 3–6 days of the booking date will receive a 50% refund or credit, subject to approval.
No refund or credit will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the booking.
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing via email to the SCA Admin Team.
Weather-Related Cancellations
If the ground is deemed unplayable by SCA before the start of the match, a full credit or rescheduling option will be provided.
If even one ball is bowled, the booking is considered fulfilled and no refund or reschedule will be applicable.
The decision of the SCA Ground Manager or Duty Official is final in determining playability due to weather.
SCA-Initiated Cancellation
SCA reserves the right to cancel or reassign a booking at any time due to ground maintenance, national/international events, safety concerns, or policy violations.
In such cases, teams will be given advance notice where possible and will be offered either:
A full refund
A rescheduled booking
Or a credit note for future use
Note: All refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 working days. Credit notes must be used within 6 months from the date of issue.
Ground Usage
Only booked areas may be accessed. Entry into SNCG/ SNCA nets requires advance booking.
All matches at SNCG must be scored using the official SCA App/Portal.
Teams must ensure cleanliness, proper disposal of waste, and return of equipment.
Spectator & Participant Conduct
All attendees must behave respectfully toward staff, officials, and each other.
Spectators must remain outside the playing area and ropes unless authorised.
Dress appropriately: No offensive or inappropriate clothing permitted.
Alcohol is strictly prohibited at all SCA venues.
No pets are allowed at any facility.
Code of Conduct for Attendees, Spectators, and Match Officials:
All attendees, including players, spectators, and match officials, are expected to behave respectfully and courteously towards SCA staff, officials, always. This includes maintaining a professional and positive environment for all participants and observers.
The Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) reserves the right to remove any individual who is found to be engaging in disrespectful, rude, or inappropriate behavior towards staff, officials, or other attendees. Individuals who are removed will be prohibited from entering SCA facilities or participating in events for a minimum duration of three months.
This policy applies to all individuals involved in SCA-organised events, including the National League and other competitions.
Unique Rules - Spectator Rules & Etiquette
No Clapping During Overs, unlike some grounds, clapping in between deliveries (unless it’s an end-of-over milestone) is rare.
No Musical Instruments or Flags, SNCG’s values a quieter, more refined atmosphere.
Polite Applause: Crowd is expected to clap good play — not heckle or sledge.
Streaming & Media Policy
No live streaming, recording, or media broadcasting is permitted without prior written approval from SCA.
For corporate bookings, streaming must be pre-approved and conducted only via SCA's official social media.
Unauthorised marketing or promotions within the facility are not permitted.
Drones are strictly prohibited at all SCA grounds.
Parking & Access (SNCG Specific)
No parking allowed inside or outside SNCG (cars, bikes, vans, lorries, buses).
Drop-off and pick-up only at the entrance.
Vehicles violating this will be reported to LTA.
Parking is available at Blk 408 (cars and motorcycles).
Sound Control (8AM–9AM): No shouting, music, or cheering. Sound monitors are installed.
Injury Disclaimer
SCA is not responsible for any injuries that occur during play. All participants play at their own risk.
Emergency Procedures
To ensure the safety of all participants and attendees, please adhere to the following emergency procedures:
Evacuation Routes:
Familiarise yourself with the designated evacuation routes and assembly points. In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of SCA officials and proceed to the nearest assembly point.
Medical Assistance:
Medical assistance stations are available at various locations around the ground. If you require medical attention, please approach the nearest medical assistance station or contact an SCA official.
Snake Sighting Disclaimer
Please be advised that snakes have been sighted in the area. It is your full responsibility to ensure your safety while on the premises. Stay away from any potentially dangerous wildlife, including snakes.
The Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) is not liable for any injuries caused by wildlife encounters on or near the grounds. All individuals are urged to remain vigilant and exercise caution while using the facilities.
Security Threats: If you observe any suspicious activity or security threats, please report it immediately to an SCA official. In case of a security threat, follow the instructions provided and proceed to the designated assembly points. SCA is not responsible if you
Lost and Found Procedures
To ensure the proper handling of lost and found items, please adhere to the following procedures:
Reporting Lost Items: If you lose an item, report it immediately to the SCA Admin Team or the designated lost and found officer. Provide a detailed description of the item, including its condition, and the date and location where it was lost.
Found Items: If you find an item, turn it over to the SCA Admin Team or the designated lost and found officer. Provide a detailed description of the item, including its condition, and the date and location where it was found.
Documentation: All lost and found items will be documented, including a detailed description, condition, and the date and location where the item was found or lost. This information will be used to identify the item's owner and facilitate its return.
Storage: Lost and found items will be stored in a secure location. Valuable items such as jewellery, wallets, and electronics will be stored in a locked area with restricted access.
Claiming Lost Items: To claim a lost item, provide proof of ownership and a detailed description of the item. The SCA Admin Team or the designated lost and found officer will verify the information before returning the item.
Unclaimed Items:
Unclaimed items will be stored for a reasonable timeframe before being disposed of or donated to charity. This timeframe will be clearly communicated to the public to encourage timely inquiries about lost items.

By proceeding with any ground booking or use of Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) facilities, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
SCA shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, or other incident arising from the use of its grounds, facilities, or services.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Personal injury to players, officials, or spectators
Damage or loss of equipment or personal belongings
Cancellations due to weather, operational requirements, or external circumstances
Technical disruptions, such as live stream interruptions or scoring system downtime
Any third-party service failures or delays
All users of SCA grounds and facilities are advised to:
Take personal responsibility for their safety and possessions
Use proper sporting equipment and conduct themselves with care
Arrange their own insurance coverage if required
SCA reserves the right to amend or enforce policies without prior notice in the interest of safety, security, or ground integrity.
